The **ASK American Service Tool AWL Tool** is a handy tool for unexpected repairs during your next adventure. Because of its cord eye, the sewing awl is in fact ideal for impromptu repairs of e.g. leather belts, canvas products, nylon gear or other essential supplies that need to be repaired immediately in the field. The small flat screwdriver at the end of the tool is also perfect for smaller screws. The awl/screwdriver is made of the same CPM steel as the blade of your ASK knife.

## Tips when installing

Adding new scales or other accessories isn't without risk! To prevent damage to screws and scales, always use suitable screwdrivers and never force anything. We prefer to add a piece of a plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite. Also check the warranty conditions of the manufacturer: for some brands the warranty expires the moment you start working on the knife yourself. You add the scales at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or accessory.
