The **Case Trapper** is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers.




You open the Case Knives with two hands. To make this easier, there's a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.



## Damascus blade
The blade of this Case Knives Burnt Goldenrod, Damascus, Trapper is made from damascus steel. It's beautiful and incredibly stylish, but also designed for use. Damascus is created by welding different types of steel together and folding them multiple times, all at very high temperatures and with exceptional craftsmanship. This steel combines ancient techniques with modern skill.
