The **Böker Bronco Mini 121505** is a compact bushcraft knife, and the smaller version of the standard Bronco. This design was inspired by the classic Finnish puukko knife. Thanks to the minimalist design and rounded handle, this knife feels great in hand. The handle has even been given a grippy texture, so you'll even have a good grip in wet conditions. Both in the design and the manual finish are done by Böker in Solingen, Germany.

The Bronco Mini has a blade made from 80CrV2 steel. This is a sturdy carbon type of steel that is often used in the Finnish knife industry. The handle is made from thermoplastic elastomer. This is also called synthetic rubber. It's a material that offers a good grip, even in wet conditions.

The knife comes with a nice kydex sheath. This sheath has a belt clip with enough room for belts up to 3.5 cm. The belt clip is designed to also work on a backpack or your trouser pocket.

Hatte bereits die Naturensöhne Variante und bin von dieser schon begeistert. Da ich noch eines mit einem feineren Schliff wollte (Scandi vs. Flachschliff), hab ich mir jetzt diese Variante dazugeholt. Keine Ahnung was manche Tester für Probleme haben mit der Behauptung es würde nichts schneiden. Der Scandi beim MK 1 ist absolut Hammer und der Flachschliff beim Mini ist ebeso tip top. Hab es nochmal geschärft und was soll ich sagen - die Haare fliegen schon vom Unterarm wenn sie die Klinge nur fühlen. Der Stahl ist auch ausreichend Schnitthaltig und ist schnell wieder nachgeschärft. Das Stonewash geht bei echter Benutzung (das Messer WILL und MUSS benutzt werden) ein wenig ab und darunter bildet sich eine schöne Patina. Habe den Kauf kein Stück bereut und würde es jedem empfehlen, der ein schlankes, durchdachtes und robustes Werkzeug für draußen oder als größeres EDC sucht. Die Kydex passt bei beiden Modellen beängstigend gut und es können beide Messer trotz unterschiedlicher Schliffe untereinender in der Kydex getauscht werden. Sinnvoll wenn man eine Kydex z.B. mit TekLock und eine mit UltiClip versieht. Messer nach Wahl trage ich nun Oudoor mit TekLock und ansonsten mit Ulticlip Waist Inside. Die zusatzlichen 100 Bugs zum MK 1 haben sich gelohnt. Knife & Tools nicht vergessen: Bestellung, Versand, Lieferzeit - alles wier immer Hervorragend. Danke dafür. 

I have one issue with this knife: that’s the claim that it was inspired by Finnish puukko knives. The Finnish puukko has a straight spine (no drop point), a medium to low scandi grind down to zero, and the handle is made from natural materials. 

The only things in common are the use of 80CrV2 carbon steel, and… well, actually, that’s it. Or nearly.

What does connect is the relative lack of fanciness, of handle design that only gets in the way (TOPS knives, anyone?), and the ease of use. 

This is a very nice knife to use, extremely comfortable and extremely versatile. At this price point, highly recommended: if a Morakniv Garberg seems needlessly large or the handle too hard, give this knife a try: there’s few things it won’t do (if you can resist the nowadays apparently omnipresent urge to mistake a knife for an axe).

Super couteau, très bonne prise en main, tranchant rasoir. Étui kyder de très bonne qualité seul petit bémol l'attache fournie est bien pour une ceinture de 3.5 cm de large, trop petit, mes ceinture font 4 cm de large, je l'ai remplacé par un tec lok de la bonne largeur. 
Parfait pour le bushcraft, et l'utilisation au quotidien, un parfait EDC.
