The **Buck 119GRS1 Special Pro Green Micarta** is an iconic hunting knife. The timeless design is appreciated worldwide and the knife is made to be used. A heavy-duty, properly balanced knife. As such it is amazing to work with. The typical clippoint turns it into a real hunting knife. Perfect when gutting game, but also in the garden or around the campfire it can come in handy.


 The handle is made from micarta. This is a composite material made from canvas and synthetic resin. Rock-solid and it feels great in hand. The blade is made from premium CPM S35VN steel. An American type of powder steel that retains its sharpness well, is stainless and also easy to sharpen. Due to the heat treatment according to the recipe of the legendary Paul Bos this steel is even better than the steel of some other products.



The knife comes with a decent leather sheath. This sheath is enhanced with a press-stud to make sure you can properly secure the knife in its sheath. It is also enhanced with a belt loop.

Très joli couteau.
Bien plus petit et léger que sont grand frère le 124 Frontiersman !!

Très déçu par les finitions, tranchant asymétrique et bavure de colle entre le manche et la garde en micarta. J'ai demandé un échange en pensant être tombé sur un mauvais numéro, ils m'ont renvoyé le même après avoir gratté la colle (entrainant au passage des rayures sur la garde) et présentant le même aiguisage asymétrique.
 Sur le bon de retour il était mentionné:
"Check that the blade is sharpened symmetrically and that the micarta has no glue residue."

Acquis surtout pour la collection, il est magnifique et super bien fini. Aucun regret
