The **Casström No. 10 Swedish Forest Knife** is an amazing outdoor knife, made in Sweden. When you hold this knife you immediately notice the amazing ergonomics. This knife feels amazing in hand! The somewhat strange looking 'kink' in the handle contributes to a comfortable grip. Casström designed this knife as an all-round outdoor knife. Hunting, fishing, food prep, bushcraft: this knife can handle it all.

 The blade is made from Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel. Stainless and easy to sharpen. It also retains its sharpness well. This version is enhanced with a flat grind. As such it is a real *slicer* and better suited to cut food.

 The handle is made from micarta. This is a strong composite material made from linen and synthetic resin. It feels great in hand and even offers enough grip in wet circumstances.

 The Casström No. 10 Swedish Forest Knife comes with a decent leather sheath. This sheath has a belt loop for belts up to (approximately) 6 cm.

Dans un premier temps m'étant trompé de référence dans le N°10 j'ai pensé renvoyer le N°10 forrest émouture plate , mais après l'avoir eu en main et ben....Je le garde..Il sera plus adapté au dépeçage du gibier et à un usage courant autour du camp .
Très beau couteau, très bel étui en cuir...Conquis...que du bonheur...

Excellente prise en main , robustesse ,très bon étui bien conçu,à voir dans le temps la durabilité et qualité de coupe.

Etliche befinden sich in meinem Besitz. Davon sind manche in fast ständigem Gebrauch, aber „das Eine für Alles“ gibt es nicht. Mir fehlte ein Messer für die Outdoorküche im zünftigen Look, womit ich aber auch einen Spieß anspitzen oder feine Späne zum Feuer anmachen herstellen kann. Mein Caström hat den richtigen Schliff dafür, liegt gut in meiner Hand und hat so einige Brote und Salamis zu Pausenbroten verarbeitet. Die Schnitthaltigkeit für diese Aufgaben ist top und den Feuerstahl kann ich gut damit anreißen. Alles in allem ein gutes und schönes Messer mit Alltagstauglichkeit.
