The **Fenix RC20** is a rechargeable LED flashlight perfect for anyone who needs to be able to keep their flashlight close. It is the successor of the popular Fenix RC15. The included (USB-)charging station can be mounted to the wall, or in your car, with only 2 screws. As such you will always have a beam of light of 1000 lumens within reach. The Fenix RC20 is a perfect flashlight for professional use.


On the back of the flashlight you can find a tactical switch, with, next to it, a semi-circular aluminium button. With this tactical switch you can turn the light on or off. The secondary button can be used to switch between modes. When you press down this button for longer than 0.5 seconds the light will switch to stroboscope mode even when the light has completely been turned off.


## Fenix RC20: two operating modes


When the light is turned on you can press down the secondary button for three seconds to switch to the simplified mode. In this mode you will only have the Turbo and medium mode left. Press down again for three seconds when the light is turned on and you will return to the regular mode.


The beam of the flashlight offers 1000 ANSI lumens in the Turbo mode, with a maximum reach of 290 meters according to the ANSI norm. The Fenix RC20 draws its power from the included rechargeable battery with a capacity of 2600mAh. You can recharge the flashlight in approximately 2.5 hours in the included charging station. This battery can specifically be used for this model and cannot be replaced by another 18650 battery or CR123A batteries. When the light is turned off you can briefly press on the secondary button. In between the two points of contact a small LED light will give you the status of the battery. Green means full, red means that the battery is almost empty and when it starts to flicker you know that the battery status is critical. The Fenix RC20 comes with a hard-plastic storage case.


**Please note: before use you need to remove the black protective covers on the battery otherwise the light won’t work.**

The Fenix RC20 comes with one model specific 2600mAh Li-Ion battery, 220V-adapter, holster, lanyard, storage case, spare O-ring and a USB charging station.


## Prevent deeply-discharged batteries

Are you not planning to use your flashlight for a while? In that case, it's best to unscrew the tailcap (the bottom end of the handle) a few turns. This will prevent your battery from becoming too deeply discharged, which can happen if the circuit of the battery stays in contact with the flashlight without being used or recharged in the meantime.  A deeply discharged battery cannot always be revived and recharged, which would be a shame!

Do you have a flashlight with a built-in battery? Then make sure to charge your flashlight at least once every 3-4 months, even when not in use. This prevents the battery from becoming too deeply discharged, and it's also good for the lifespan of your battery!

Ben uiterst tevreden over de zaklamp. Hij is snel opgeladen en de regelbare lichtsterkte is uitstekend.

Klein handig lampje, geeft best veel licht voor z'n formaat.  Nadeeltje....je hebt steeds 2 handen nodig om de lichtbundel aan te passen omdat het druk knopje op het uit einde zit.
Desondanks ben ik tevreden.

Degelijke uitvoering. Zeer goede lamp. Met accu altijd paraat (incl. USB aansluiting). Handzaam formaat. Giga lichtbundel.

Erg fijne lamp. Heb ook een rc15. Dus de RC20 is even wennen qua bediening (bediening op achter zijde ipv zijkant)
Goede lichtopbrengst, lange batterij/accu duur. En een bak met licht! Super!
