The **Lodge Classic Cast Iron Skillet L6SK3** is a cast-iron frying pan, perfect for frying, baking, stewing or grilling. The cast-iron retains the heat well and perfectly distributes it. No strange spots in the pan where your food won't heat up! And the frying pan can be used on all cooking hobs. Put it in the oven, or your stove, or hang it over an open flame. It even works on induction. This pan is enhanced with an, easy to hold, handle and a flat handle to make sure you can easily lift the pan. These handles will heat up, so always make sure you take hold of the pan with an oven mitt or [silicone pan holder](/en/pt/-lodge-silicone-pan-holder-ashh11-black.htm).

## Maintaining your lodge pan

As the pan is produced it is treated with vegetable oil based on soya. As a result you end up with a natural non-stick coating. And each time you use a Lodge pan, this non-stick coating will only become better. Maintaining it, however, is very important. Clean the pan after use with water and a little bit of detergent. It is not dishwasher proof. If there is still some left-over food sticking to the pan, scrape it off with a [pan scraper.](/en/pt/-lodge-pan-scraper-combo-set-scrapercombo.htm) Having trouble removing the left-over food? Simmer a little bit of water in the pan for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards you can easily scrape out any left-over residue. Properly dry the pan after cleaning it and add a small layer of [oil](kato://product/LG-L-Aspray) to the pan. Always make sure you store the pan in a dry place. Otherwise it can start to rust!

Deze gietijzeren pan is echt een onmisbare toevoeging aan mijn keuken! Ik gebruik hem dagelijks en hij stelt nooit teleur. Of het nu gaat om het bakken van een quiche, iets heerlijk krokant sauteren of een perfecte sear creëren, deze pan kan het allemaal. Hij is veelzijdig, duurzaam en absoluut de moeite waard. Een investering die zich keer op keer bewijst!

Après un bon culottage, parfait pour les cuisson de mes œufs au plat quotidiens du petit déjeuner.


Verbaasd door de kwaliteit van deze iron cast skillet. seasoning zat er al op, heb voor de zekerheid toch een extra laagje aangebracht maar is eigenlijk niet nodig. je kan hem zo uit te doos gebruiken. wel goed onderhouden maar dat spreekt voor zich met dit soort materiaal. je hebt hem in verschillende groottes maar deze is net goed voor 2 personen. erg snel geleverd, uitstekende klantenservice!

Ma première poêle en fonte ( anciennement chez tefal avec les fameux revêtements) j’ai eu un changement complètement fou 
Alors oui attention la fonte demande de l’attention 
Que ce soit à l’entretien ou au lavage 
Mais une fois qu’on connaît tout les secrets de la fonte 
C’est la choses la plus agréable à utiliser 
La cuisson de mes œuf non jamais etait aussi fou 
La cuisson des viande j’en parle pas 

Bref un vrais game changer (j’ai par la suite acheté d’autre ustensiles lodge pour être complètement équipée)
