I have to be honest. I was disappointed when I got the knife. Fit is good (not great), finish not so much. The box says "High polished"....nope. On mine, just the small blade was polished. The large one quite was poorly finished, very uneven "polish" with dark, tarnished areas. I had to spend around 4hrs polishing myself with a leather strop and a very aggressive diamond paste (3 micron) and it's still not perfect. It's as if something has eaten away at the steel in some areas, making it very tedious to get the steel to shine in those spots. My standard for "walk and talk" is Victorinox Even after oiling it generously, it's nowhere near a Victorinox. It will never be, since it's a classic design, that cannot be taken apart for maintenance and improvement. Because I spent so much time perfecting it myself, I became fond of it and I decided to keep it, despite the poor first impressions. Do not expect a smooth rider. My copy is a rough rider all the way. Also, the price in Europe is up there, at 51€. while US websites list it for 29$, currently. Usually, the price in € reflects mainly the VAT and the transport. This one ends up costing more than it's intended price bracket. Buy it if you are a knife enthusiast and enjoy making knives yours.
