The **Rough Ryder Small Fixed Blade, Stacked Wood** is a small, fixed EDC knife. A modern design with a classic look and feel. The knife is perfect for small bushcraft tasks and for daily use. The Rough Ryder Stacked Wood comes with a sheath made from leather. The sheath is enhanced with a stunning pattern that perfectly matches the classic design of the knife.

## 440A steel

440A is a fine, popular type of steel. It is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. It won't retain its sharpness for a really long time, but this is compensated by the fact that 440A is quite tough and easy to sharpen. This means you only occasionally have to maintain it a little to make sure you always keep a sharp knife close.

## Stacked wood handle

The handle is made from different layers of wood with a thin line of steel in between. The combination of dark and light brown wood makes the knife look very classic. The two stainless steel bolsters complete the whole.

Rough Ryder Knives is a brand with a rich history. For over 25 years this brand is known for its excellent price-quality ratio. Like Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Ryders these knives were named after, these knives are ready to be used. The prices are very appealing. Of course this means you sometimes need to compromise which means that occasionally you could find there to be something wrong with the finish. Nothing major, and definitely in line with the prices. In case of natural materials such as wood, bone and horn it is possible to end up with small scratches around the pins. It is simply a part of the deal in this price range.

Schitterend mes voor een aangename prijs. Mooi scherp en klein genoeg om niet overdreven op te vallen. 

Well done to the photographer,  I was expecting something like a mors or a finn bear. But this knife is tiny.
    The handle is roughly finished and the blade was not sharp put of the box. The sheath has poor retention also.
  As a tiny pocket knife it is so so but I can't think of a single practical use for this.
