The **Case Bose Tribal Lock** is a traditional pocket knife with a backlock. It is enhanced with one blade: a modified spearpoint. The spine of the tip is a little thinner, this is called a 'swedge'. As such it also looks a little like a sheepsfoot.

This knife was designed by Tony Bose. A celebrity in the world of traditional knives. You clearly see his design style when you look at the swedge. Compared to other Bose designs this is a relatively affordable model.

## Case CV carbon steel

The blade is made from Case Chrome-Vanadium steel, also called CV steel. This is a type of carbon steel that is loved because you can easily sharpen it. With only a minimum amount of effort you can truly make this knife razor-sharp. You do, however, have to be careful when it comes to rust. Long-term exposure to moisture, salt or acids ensure that the blade will discolour or even rust. Enthusiasts appreciate that in time a *patina* forms on the blade. This means that the steel gets a matt, grey colour. As such the knife gets a character all its own, making it unique. 

## Grey Bone, Crandall Jig handle

The handle is made from *Grey Crandall Jigged Bone*. This is basically cow bone that is enhanced with an interesting texture. Afterwards it is enhanced with a nice colour and polished. This is a truly classic type of handle material which radiates class and elegance. It nicely matches the Case knives. In this case the handle is enhanced with a Crandall texture. ​ 

The addition 'Pocket Worn' means that a little more attention was paid to the finish. As such the knife looks even more beautifully worn in. As if years of carrying it in your pocket polished it.

Case has been producing pocket knives ever since 1889. Each pocket knife is assembled and finished by hand, relatively unique for an American brand. As a result each Case knife is unique.
