Casström Safari Orange G10 hunting knife 11630 Kydex Sheath, Alan Wood design

The design of the entire knife exudes the knowledge and expertise typical of all Alan Wood knives. One of the most beautiful and at the same time, functional small non-custom knives on the market. Beautiful blade shape, solid, dense G10 all fingers handle, slim profile Kydex Sheath, A real must in the neck knifes category. I wish Casström would reborn other of Alan's wonderful designs, such as the Pioneer (a larger version, more or less, of this Mini Safari), or the Pacific Crest Trail. Regards.

I have not had time to use this knife for its intended purpose - hunting. However, it came razor sharp, the blade is just the right size and profile and should be easy to sharpen when I need to. I lightly stropped it and it is now beyond razor sharp. The handle fits my medium (glove size 9) hand perfectly. The kydex sheath is secure and the only criticism with it is the horizontal belt loop moves a bit, although I haven't had a chance to wear it out hunting. I'm not sure if the sheath is compatible with a belt clip, if so I might change it in the future, for now it is ok. A beautiful knife, well done Casstrom.
