I've always wanted an F1. Having studied every model from every angle I decided to keep it simple and jump on this one, based on its size. It's a carefully wrought piece with a strong, simple aesthetic, impeccably finished. Oh - I also wanted a convex blade so I got that too. It's a very good knife; not a budget knife but one of the very few more expensive ones that delivers value.
