The **Medford The Deep** is a hefty fixed knife designed for divers and professionals working in saltwater. Thanks to the robust design and premium materials, this knife can withstand demanding conditions such as prolonged exposure to saltwater, extreme underwater pressure and heavy physical strain during use. The titanium guard adds extra strength and safety. The knife comes with a black Kydex sheath fitted with a Tek-Lok fastening system. It allows you to easily and securely attach the knife to your equipment.




The blade of the Medford The Deep 25-TDP-01, 20CV Tumbled Blade, Black/Blue G10 diving knife measures 11.4 cm in length and 6.5 mm in thickness. The total length is 22.9 cm.



## Blade made of CPM 20CV steel
The blade of this Medford  is made of CPM 20CV steel. This is premium steel made in the United States by Crucible Industries. CPM 20CV is popular because it is very hard and therefore retains its sharpness well. Moreover, 20CV is very corrosion resistant. These features make it an excellent choice for a pocket knife. In terms of composition and use, CPM 20CV is very similar to Böhler M390, another popular steel. Because CPM 20CV is incredibly hard, we recommend sharpening this pocket knife with diamond sharpening stones or ceramic sharpening stones, or a sharpening system that uses these sharpening stones.



The Medford The Deep 25-TDP-01, 20CV Tumbled Blade, Black/Blue G10 diving knife comes with a sheath made of kydex, a sturdy plastic that will keep the steel safe. However, it is important to keep a kydex sheath clean on the inside. Rinse it regularly with water. This will prevent dirt from remaining in the sheath, which can scratch the blade.
