This **BeaverCraft BSH4 Carbon Steel Bushcraft Knife** is a robust bushcraft knife for a great price. The droppoint blade is perfect for bushcraft tasks such as wood carving.

The blade is made from 1066 carbon steel. A simple type of steel that is easy to sharpen. Carbon steel is not entirely stainless, but its cutting capabilities are excellent. Be careful around acids and moisture. BeaverCraft did enhance the knife with an oxide-coating to protect the carbon steel from external influences.

The handle is made from impregnated oak. A nice type of wood with a warm look and feel. It is striking that the handle is relatively thick, making it also perfect for people with large hands.

The BeaverCraft BSH4 comes with a leather sheath, with belt loop and dangler. The dangler enables you to carry the sheath even lower on your belt, making it stick out from under your coat. As such the sheath can also easily pivot in relation to your belt.

Ik heb dit product aangekocht en ik ben zeer teleurgesteld namelijk het hoesje waar hij inzit daar valt het gewoon uit dus als je gaat lopen en je maakt een plotse beweging of zoiets dergelijks dan heb je het mes in je voet zitten. Dit is natuurlijk belachelijk ten tweede is het mes behoorlijk zacht, dus naa slijpen is bijna Elke 1015 keer gebruik nodig. Ten derde ligt het gewoon niet zo heel lekker in de hand maar dit is natuurlijk heel erg verschillend. De eerste twee punten zie ik gewoon als een slecht product dus kortom, ik raad dit niet aan.
