The **Eden XP 8x42** is a pair of roof prism binoculars with an incredibly clear and bright image, a high edge sharpness, 8x magnification, broad field of view, nitrogen-filled and suited for use up to -20 degrees C. This pair has been enhanced with top-quality optical elements you will often only find in much more expensive pairs, that is the Eden price advantage!


The top-quality optics take care of a very bright and clear image with a high edge sharpness (=sharpness up to the edge of the image). In addition, the lenses and prism's have been carefully aligned. You notice this because you can easily see through the pair.


Remarkable about this pair is the width of the field of view. This is at least 129 meters at 1000 meters of distance which is great for 8x42 binoculars! Combined with the quick focus this ensures that you will quickly and easily find your target.


The di-electric and phase-correction coatings on the prisms contribute to the very high light transmission of the XP models. The result is a lively and sharp image. The pair can be focused on objects closeby, up to approximately 1.2 meters! This is great if you want to study insects, for instance.

**Roof-prism binoculars: compact and gastight**


These binoculars are so-called roof-prism binoculars. A construction where the lenses are in line with each other. This makes the pair narrower and ensures that the pair is airtight. This is because there are no changes of volume when focusing. This in comparison to the so-called porro-prism binoculars where, while focusing, the outer dimensions of the pair change and the user might be inclined to suck in and blow out air.


**Nitrogen-filled: no condensation**


During the manufacturing process the pair was filled with nitrogen. As a result the bins can be used up to approximately -20 ° C without being bothered by condensation.

Een jaar of 8 geleden had ik een Eden XP 8x56. Geweldige kijker! Zeker voor het geld. Toen in de aanbieding kunnen kopen voor 349. Ik heb er een paar jaar naar grote tevredenheid gebruik van gemaakt maar wilde altijd al eens een Swarovski. Heb nu sinds een jaar of 3 a 4 een Swarovski SLC8x42WB. Prachtige kijker! De Eden XP8x56 verkocht. Al langere tijd zocht ik een betaalbare goede verrekijker die gewoon in de auto kan blijven liggen, of in de fietstas, zodat je altijd wat bij hebt. Eerst een Bynolyt gekocht maar beviel uitermate slecht. Uiteindelijk toch weer een Eden gekocht. En het voelt gelijk weer vertrouwd. Heerlijke kijker voor erbij, of als er iemand mee gaat aan diegene te geven zodat ik zelf gewoon de Swarovski kan gebruiken.

Fijne kijker, alleen de doppen verdienen verbetering 

Super kijker! Handzaam & lekker licht. Snel scherp te stellen en héél fijn om met bril te gebruiken. Mooi helder en kleurrijk, stabiel beeld. Oók met bijna 70 jarige (wat bibberige) handen :-)

De kijker is een prima kijker voor het geld. Alleen de afdekdoppen is waardeloos. Als die erop zitten en houd de lenzen naar beneden vallen ze er zo af. Dat is can weer jammer
