For a great many of us, this could be all the pocket knife we ever need. It's a good size - not too large, not too small. It's solidly made - good materials, good fit and finish, nice design and decent steel - nothing fancy, just sharpens well and holds a good edge. The wooden scales have a touch of class - mine were nicely grained and finished. The blade opens and closes smoothly and locks securely, and it's easy enough to take up any play in the pivot. The only thing I'm tempted to do to improve the knife is a cosmetic thing - I may get out my files and refine the shape of the lanyard hole - it seems a little "agricultural" and out of keeping on such a nice looking knife. But that's about it - otherwise it's a pretty amazing amount of knife for remarkably little money. The belt pouch is nicely made too - though I don't use mine as I keep the knife in my pocket. I have quite a lot of different knives, but if I only had this one I'd be happy with it for almost all things I use mune for.

I love this knife! Came out of the packaging as sharp as a razor. I'm going to order the slightly larger version. Package arrived from the Netherlands in two days. I'd also like to note how helpful the staff at knivesandtools have been. Many thanks

It is very good knife works well and comes in very handy, but the eka symbol on the side is just glued on and if you drop it Lots of times (or I would think threw it of dropped it from a high place) the symbol just comes off, so that’s why my rating is 4 stars other than that good knife and decent value for money.

The knife is brilliant I work in a stables and need a knife. How do open bales of hay, straw without a knife ?
