The **Fenix TK16 V2.0 tactical flashlight** is the updated version of the famous Fenix TK16. This flashlight is specifically designed for police and security personnel. With a focused beam of 3100 lumens you create a massive light image, as much as two car headlights. You can activate the stroboscope mode within half a second. As such this flashlight is perfect for law enforcement, police and soldiers, but also for private individuals for self-defence or during search ops. Because of its unique controls this flashlight is popular amongst a broad audience.

The head of the light is enhanced with a crown made from indestructible tungsten carbide steel, to break glass or to protect yourself. This crown will also protect the lens of the flashlight. The flashlight can handle dust and is waterproof up to a depth of 2 metres for thirty minutes. It will also survive a 1.5 m fall and works at temperatures ranging from -35 ℃ to 45 ℃. The Fenix TK16 V2.0 derives its power from one ARB-L21-5000U rechargeable Li-Ion battery (included). You can easily charge this battery via the USB-C port. **You do, however, need to remove the battery to charge it**.


## How to use the Fenix TK16 V2.0


You can easily control the Fenix TK16 V2.0 with one hand. The instant stroboscope function is there for when every second counts. With this function you can disorient your attacker. As such you have time to run or to close in on someone. As soon as you press the second switch the light will start with the stroboscope mode. Release the switch and the light will immediately be turned off.


The tactical switch of the Fenix TK16 V2.0 has a momentary-on function. Hold the switch down and the light will temporarily turn to the mode last used. As soon as you completely press down the switch it will stay on. You easily select the desired light mode via the second switch. Even when the light is turned on and you press down this switch you immediately activate the stroboscope mode. To deactivate it you press the button again.


### Light modes on the Fenix TK16 V2.0


* Turbo: 3100 lumens, burn time of approx. 2:40 hours*
* High: 1000 lumens, burn time of approx. 2:50 hours
* Medium: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 8:20 hours
* Low: 150 lumens, burn time of approx. 19:10 hours
* ECO: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 43:20 hours
* Strobe: 3100 lumens


*The burn time of the highest mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to the lower light mode due to temperature regulation.


## Intelligent protection


If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will become warmer. If the light uses the turbo mode for longer than 20 minutes the light will automatically reduce the amount of lumen to reduce the temperature as well.


## Differences with the original Fenix TK16


* The TK16 V2.0 is enhanced with a SST70 LED, while the TK16 uses a Cree XM-L2 U2 LED light, which provides you with a broader and more powerful beam.
* The TK16 V2.0 is enhanced with a 3100 lumen light beam, the previous version has 1000 lumens at its disposal.
* The battery is a 21700 instead of a 18650
* The new version comes with a battery
* The TK16 V2.0 has five output levels, one more than the TK16
* The breaking points on the crown of the flashlight were originally made from stainless steel. For the TK16 V2.0 this was replaced by tungsten carbide
* Finally, the improved TK16 V2.0 is 10 grams lighter than the original flashlight


## Prevent deeply-discharged batteries

Are you not planning to use your flashlight for a while? In that case, it's best to unscrew the tailcap (the bottom end of the handle) a few turns. This will prevent your battery from becoming too deeply discharged, which can happen if the circuit of the battery stays in contact with the flashlight without being used or recharged in the meantime.  A deeply discharged battery cannot always be revived and recharged, which would be a shame!

Do you have a flashlight with a built-in battery? Then make sure to charge your flashlight at least once every 3-4 months, even when not in use. This prevents the battery from becoming too deeply discharged, and it's also good for the lifespan of your battery!

Top ding, schijnt fel en houd het lang vol 

Super zaklamp! Écht een bult licht en super handig met één druk op de knop naar stroboscoop modus. 
Alles voelt degelijk aan. Hopelijk plezier voor jaren!

Dit is mijn tweede exemplaar. Eerste exemplaar voldoet volledig aan de eisen. Beroepshalve koop ik een tweede omdat ik mij met verschillende voertuigen verplaats. Makkelijk met een reeks batterijen die identiek en compatibel zijn. 👍👍

De Fenix TK16 valt op door het kleine formaat en de bouwkwaliteit. De lamp is degelijk in elkaar gezet en geeft, zeker op de hoogste stand, een zee van licht. De batterij met de mogelijkheid om met usb op te laden is bijzonder. Het gebruik van de lamp is een 1-2-3-tje. Buiten dat het een goede zaklamp is, lijkt het erop dat de lamp in geval van nood ook gebruikt kan worden om bijvoorbeeld een autoruit in te slaan.
