This is truly a legendary knife! The LionSTEEL original M5 is epic on its own being masterfully design and crafted. However, when you add CPM-3V to an already incredible knife, it becomes extraordinary, a super knife! This is the knife you can rely on to save your life. It will with stand a lifetime of hard use and will stick around for generations to come, a true heirloom. This M5 is not only beautiful to look at, it is a pleasure to use. The ergonomics are precise and perfectly executed. There are no hot spots on n the hand during use. The only down side on this bad boy is there not a ferro rod striker built in. That being said, you can easily remedy that by filing the crowned angled portion on the pommel to a flat 90° striker. It will throw sparks like a rain storm. The sheath is beautiful and remarkably well made, though I wish it was available in light brown leather rather than black. Final comments are that this is the best fixed blade knife I personally have owned and used to date. I can honestly recommend this to anyone looking for that perfect survival knife, you won’t be disappointed!
