The Okatsune shears often look a little basic. Looks, however, can be deceiving. The constructions are so simple because they work. You really don’t need more. Okatsune uses Japanese top-quality steel to manufacture the shears. The same type of carbon steel was used to forge katana swords. So yes, they are that good!

## Maintaining Okatsune pruning shears

Zeer scherpe snoeischaar. Zeer gemakkelijk in gebruik. Ook geen last tijdens het snoeien van de sluiting aangezien die achteraan zit.

Un vrai sécateur de terrain. En complément d'un premier sécateur Okatsune acheté il y a plus de 10 ans et qui travaille toujours très bien car je l'entretiens !

Degelijke snoeischaar. Knipt /snijd heel goed. 
Ben Gardena gewend, maar die mogen er nog geen eens naast liggen. Wat een verschil. 
Ik heb de grote besteld, had ook een slag kleiner gekund. 
Al met al twee duimpjes omhoog en het geld waard

Na ontvangst van de schaar heb ik er direct de vijgenboom mee gesnoeid. Dat ging uitstekend. Ik heb er zelf de iets dikkere takken mee gesnoeid. Na wat kracht zetten lukte dat ook (alhoewel het niet de bedoeling is met deze schaar). De rozelaar en de hibiscus hiermee snoeien was kinderspel. De schaar is vlijmscherp en heeft een goede grip. Ik ben er heel tevreden mee en zal ze zeker goed onderhouden zodat ik ze lag kan gebruiken.
