Better then Naniwa superstones

I have four different Shapton stones and I find them very good quality. The stones behave as stated in terms of grit value and they are a nice chunky size. The box it comes in was a plus for me over the Naniwa because it does function really well as a stone holder during honing. They feel that they will last a long time. This 5K for me was a mid range stone to speed up the honing between 1K and 8K and it makes big difference.

Not used this stone yet, but from other reviews I've read it is an excellent piece of kit. Also excellent service from knivesandtools. Will definitely use this company again.

This really is a very good 5000 grit polishing stone.

Very good stone for the value, easy to sharpen on and leaves a very good polish!
