The silky Saw itself performs well and as expected for a premium product. The size is just right for wilderness living. The only issue i have with the saw, is that is does not lock when closed. However, the main issue i have is the plastic container, it comes with. This part of the product is just wrong and seriously needs to be reviewed by the manufacturer. No one wants to be walking round the woods with a square clear plastic container strapped to their leg. For the cost, I would suggest some sort of recycled material sheath, anything other than the plastic item it comes with.

An expensive piece of kit, but easily the best saw I've ever used. It's a pleasure to cut wood with this, not a chore. An essential item I now wouldn't be without.

I have this and a Laplander. In wood cutting tasks the Gomboy takes less effort and is much quicker. If I'm going out and want a folding saw - just in case - I'd take the lighter/compact Laplander but if I'm planning on prepping wood the Gomboy makes life easier

Saw is 100% well made, and the plastic container that arrived with it is handy, as it makes it easier to carry it in a bag. I like the saw quite a lot. I am glad I bought it and enjoy using it.
