Fantastic little pocket knife. As tough as the other Victorinox alox knives but smaller and lighter with a single tool layer. I can't recommend these highly enough. The only downside.... I have heard that Victorinox are discontinuing this model which would be a real shame.

The Alox Bantam is probably the slimmest Swiss Army Knife you will find - only 6mm thick, so it is very light and pocketable. Almost slim enough to slip in your wallet. The main blade is the same as on all the other Victorinox knives of this size, 63mm long, so a modest but useful size. The combined can opener and bottle opener is not as good at either job as a dedicated tool, but is serviceable in both roles. Probably better as an emergency can opener than for frequent use! I prefer these Alox knives to the traditional red, plastic ones because they're much more hard-wearing. It resists scratching better than the plastic when it's rattling around in your pocket. The backsprings tend to be stronger too, presumably because there are no tools on the back side so the spring can run the whole length of the knife. If you want a usable pocket knife that's very slim and light then this is an ideal choice. If you want something a bit more substantial I'd recommend the Pioneer or Farmer.

Very good quality victorinox knife for the price. Very thin and handy. Only has the basic essentials (knife and bottle opener!). Bought it from this shop because the bantam is discontinued and hard to find elsewhere. I lost my old one so I was quite happy to be able to buy one. Good delivery with tracking.
