The **Victorinox Cadet Alox** is one of Victorinox' most famous Swiss pocket knives. The Cadet is incredibly versatile, light-weight and very compact. For many people the Victorinox Cadet is, as a result, the perfect Swiss pocket knife.

Thanks to the compact size the Cadet is incredibly easy to take with you. So whether you carry the Victorinox Cadet in your pocket, bag or in a sheath on your belt, the Cadet can handle almost anything. The blade, for instance, is perfect when opening letters, preparing a sandwich or peeling an apple. With the bottle opener, which also functions as a screwdriver and wire stripper you can easily open a cold drink. In fact, there is no reason to not take the Cadet with you!

The main difference with most Victorinox pocket knives is that the handle of the Cadet is made from Alox aluminium. These aluminium handles are robust, corrosion resistant and light-weight. The ridges also provide you with extra grip. Incredibly practical for a relatively thin knife.

## Most important tools

**Large knife** The knife is razor-sharp and has a cutting edge of no less than 6 cm. Once opened there is no wiggle room. As such it is suited for the more heavy-duty tasks. When opening and closing the blade you hear a familiar click. 

**Nail file** The file is perfect to keep your nails in great shape. With the tip of the nail file you can remove dirt from underneath your nails.

**Combination tool** A practical tool is the combination tool. This tool can be used as a bottle opener, wire stripper and screw driver.

Handig klein zakmes, past perfect in het kleine zakje van een spijkerbroek. Kwaliteit is zeer goed, zoals te verwachten van een Victorinox. 

Mooi klein, maar vooral plat en stevig mesje. De vijl vind ik prettiger dan die van een Classic SD en zal langer meegaan.

Een Pioneer 'light'. Nog steeds een stevig aluminium zwitsers zakmes, maar in een iets kleiner formaat. Past eventueel ook in een borstzakje.

Perfect voor alledaags gebruik , en verdwijnt zo in je broekzak
